QuickSitters Policies & Terms

At QuickSitters LLC, safety, trust, and transparency are our priorities. By submitting a booking, you agree to the following:
1. Nature of Services (Referral Agency)
QuickSitters operates as a referral agency under California Labor Code Section 2777. We facilitate connections between families and independent childcare providers (“Sitters”).
Sitter Selection:
A sitter will be referred based on your preferred choice and availability. A qualified backup sitter may be provided if needed.
• Independence: Sitters are independent providers who maintain the right to accept or decline any referral.
2. Cancellation Policy
We work hard to reserve sitters for your family. These fees ensure sitters are compensated for their reserved time:
• Within 1 hour of confirmation: No fee (if sitter is not yet en route).
• After 1 hour of confirmation OR within 2 hours of start time: 50% of total cost.
• After sitter is on their way or has arrived: 100% of total cost.
• Less than 24 hours before the booking: 50% of total cost.
• Bookings canceled 7+ days in advance: 25% of total cost.
• No-show (30 min wait): 100% of total cost.
• Note: Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.
3. Supervision, Safety & Liability
• Safe Environment: Parents are responsible for providing a safe home environment and disclosing allergies, pets, and security instructions.
• Limitation of Liability: QuickSitters LLC is not responsible for incidents caused by inaccurate information, unsafe home conditions, or situations beyond reasonable control. To the extent permitted by California Law, QuickSitters’ liability is limited to the commission paid for the service.
Emergency Response
In emergencies, sitters may contact emergency services and act in the child’s best interest.
4. Photo & Video Permissions
We respect your privacy. No media will be shared without your explicit consent selected in the booking form.
• Protections: We never use children’s images for AI training, face recognition, or share identifiable info (addresses, school logos).
• Rights: You may revoke consent at any time by emailing quicksitters272@gmail.com.
5. Privacy & Data (CCPA)
In accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act, we protect your data. We collect information only to provide services and never sell your data to third parties.
