For Parents:
- Cancellation within 1 Hour of Booking Confirmation:
- If you cancel within 1 hour of booking confirmation (and before the sitter is on their way), there will be no cancellation fee. However, this only applies if the booking is made several hours in advance of the start time.
- Cancellation After 1 Hour of Booking Confirmation or Less Than 2 Hours Before Start Time:
- If you cancel after 1 hour of booking confirmation or within 2 hours of the scheduled start time, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking cost will be charged.
- Cancellation After the Sitter Is On Their Way:
- If the sitter is already on their way or has arrived, the full booking cost will be charged. This ensures that the sitter is compensated for their time and travel.
- No-Show:
- If the sitter arrives at your location and is unable to reach you or gain access within 30 minutes of the agreed start time, the booking will be considered a no-show, and 100% of the booking cost will be charged.
For Sitters:
- Cancellation by the Sitter After Acceptance:
- If a sitter cancels after accepting a booking, especially if it’s within 2 hours of the start time, it could affect their standing on the QuickSitters platform. We may remove the sitter from our platform after repeated cancellations to ensure reliability for our families.
- Emergency Cancellations: In the case of a genuine emergency, sitters are expected to inform QuickSitters immediately. We will work to find a replacement sitter as quickly as possible.
General:
- Rescheduling:
- For last-minute services, rescheduling may not always be possible. However, if you need to reschedule within a short time frame, please contact QuickSitters as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate your request without additional fees.
- Emergency Cancellation by QuickSitters:
- In the rare case that a QuickSitter must cancel due to an emergency, we will immediately work to find the best available replacement sitter to ensure your needs are met.
- Refunds:
- Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 5-7 business days, depending on your payment method.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Media
You should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
