At QuickSitters, safety, trust, and transparency are our priorities.
Below you will find our policies regarding bookings, cancellations, sitter responsibilities, and your family’s privacy.
Cancellation Policy
We work hard to reserve sitters for your family, so our cancellation fees help ensure that sitters are compensated for their reserved time.
Parents:

Cancel within 1 hour of booking confirmation (and before sitter is on their way) → No fee

Cancel after 1 hour of confirmation OR within 2 hours of start time → 50% of total cost

Cancel after sitter is on their way or has arrived → 100% of total cost

Cancel less than 24 hours before the booking → 50% of total cost
-
Bookings canceled 7+ days in advance → 25% of total cost

No-show (Sitter waits 30 min with no response) → 100% of total cost
Sitters:

If a sitter cancels after accepting a booking, especially close to start time, this may affect their standing with QuickSitters.

In case of emergencies, QuickSitters will do our best to immediately assign a replacement sitter.
Refunds:
Refunds (when applicable) will be processed within 5–7 business days.

Terms & Safety Policies
By submitting a booking form, parents confirm the following:
📌 Supervision & Safety
Parents remain ultimately responsible for providing accurate information about home safety, allergies, pets, security instructions, and any risks.
📌 Sitter Assignment
A sitter will be assigned based on your preferred choice and availability.
If needed, a qualified backup sitter may be provided.
📌 Environment
Parents confirm that the home environment is safe for childcare.
📌 Emergency Response
In case of medical emergency, the sitter may contact emergency services and act in the child’s best interest if parents are unavailable.
Accuracy of Information
Parents agree that all information provided is accurate and complete.
Payment Policy
Payment must be completed before care begins, once sitter availability is confirmed.
Liability
QuickSitters sitters always do their best to keep children safe and happy.
QuickSitters is not responsible for incidents caused by:

inaccurate or incomplete information provided by parents

unsafe home conditions

situations beyond reasonable control
(This does not remove responsibility in cases of sitter negligence. Sitters are expected to follow safety guidelines at all times.)
Photo & Video Permissions (Children’s Image Protection Policy)
QuickSitters respects every family’s right to privacy. Photos or videos of children will only be taken or shared if a parent/legal guardian has given clear, prior consent through the booking form.
All media is handled under the following rules:
Parent Rights & Options
Parents may choose one of the following during booking:

No Permission – No photos or videos of the child will be taken or shared under any circumstances.

Limited Permission – Media may only include non-identifiable elements (e.g., hands, artwork, back view, no faces, no school logos, no address or location details).

Full Permission – Photos/videos may be shared responsibly on QuickSitters’ official channels for promotional purposes.
How QuickSitters Protects Children’s Safety
▪ Children’s media will never be used for:
— AI editing, AI training models, or face-recognition purposes
— Digital recreation or age-manipulation
— Sharing identifiable info such as names, school uniforms, home addresses, or precise locations
▪ Media will only be created by the sitter or QuickSitters team while providing childcare services.
▪ Parents may request removal or deletion of any media at any time by emailing: quicksitters272@gmail.com
Withdrawal of Consent
Parents can modify or revoke their photo/video permissions at any point. QuickSitters will honor the request promptly and remove any previously published media involving their child.
Storage & Security
Any photo/video kept for operational purposes will be stored securely and only for the minimum time necessary. Media is never sold or transferred to third parties.
Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and protect your information.
We may collect information submitted in our forms — such as contact details, booking information, children’s details — only to provide the childcare service requested.
We never sell or share your data with third parties.
Your data may be securely reviewed by approved QuickSitters team members for scheduling and safety purposes only.
